How do I access my account?

To access your account, sign-in with your library card number and pin (try WYLD). Go to Checkouts, click the box next to the book you want to renew. Click the Renew button at the bottom.

How do I get a library card?

Start your registration, then come to the library to complete your account and receive your card. Bring a photo ID and proof of your Park County address.

How do I download ebooks on my device?

We provide Hoopla and Libby (also known as Overdrive) services to our patrons. Follow the instructions on each website. Need help? Call or come to the library and we’ll get you started.

Do you have WiFi?

We have public WiFi in the building and out into the parking lot.

How can I print something?

Princh allows you to securely print from your phone, laptop or tablet. Visit the Princh website and use the following printer-ID codes to print directly to one of our printers:

Pick up and pay for your prints at the circulation desk. Prints are .10 cents per black & white page and $1.00 for color.  

How many books, DVDs, cd books can I check out?

You can have a total of 50 items checked-out at a time; including any combination of books, DVDs, Blu-ray, cd books, magazines, or cd music. Books and CD books check out for two weeks, DVDs for one week.

How do I make a purchase suggestion?

You may suggest items you would like the library to purchase to add to our in-library collection by filling out this online form in as much detail as possible. We may not be able to purchase all items that are suggested; but if your suggested item is purchased, we will place it on hold for you and notify you when it becomes available.

 

Attention Patrons: The Powell Library will be closed April 23-May 5, 2024 while we move into our temporary location in the Homesteader Building at the Park County Fairgrounds. All Park County Library System patrons can continue to place holds/request items, but please understand your hold may be delayed due to the closure. We look forward to seeing you at the fairgrounds in May.
