Powell Library Public Auction

Residents of Powell and surrounding areas are invited to participate in a public silent auction featuring shelving, furniture, and miscellaneous items from the Powell Library. The auction will take place on Friday, May 3, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and Saturday, May 4, from 9:00 AM to noon.
This event offers an opportunity for community members to acquire quality items while supporting their local library. With plans underway to build a new library in place of the old one, it’s essential to clear out the existing furniture and make way for the upcoming construction. From bookshelves to office furniture, there will be a variety of items available for bidding.
Attendees are advised that items must be picked up and removed from the library premises on Saturday, May 4, between noon and 5:00 PM.
