Empowering Healthier Communities

Are you ready to take charge of your health while also having the chance to win big? Look no further than your local library! We’re thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for our patrons to participate in our new program offering self-measured blood pressure monitoring (SMBP) kits for checkout.

How It Works

Thanks to a collaborative effort between the Wyoming Center on Aging (WyCOA) at the University of Wyoming, the Wyoming Department of Health Chronic Disease Prevention Program, and our library system, these kits are now available in all twenty-three counties and sixty-seven libraries statewide. Each kit includes an automated home blood pressure cuff, logbooks, educational materials, and information on healthy lifestyle changes, provided in both English and Spanish.

Win Big with Every Survey

But here’s the best part: from April 1st through June 8th, you have the chance to win a $100 Amazon Gift Card simply by borrowing a kit and completing a brief survey! That’s right, just by taking a few moments to share your feedback, you could walk away with a fantastic prize.

Weekly Winners

Here’s how it works: each week, starting on April 1st, a new winner will be drawn from the surveys submitted during that week. So, if you borrow a kit and complete the survey, you’ll not only be taking a positive step towards better health but also putting yourself in the running for some extra cash to spend on Amazon goodies.

Join the Movement

We’re committed to empowering individuals like you to track your health numbers and communicate effectively with healthcare providers. By participating in this initiative, you’ll not only be investing in your own well-being but also contributing to the overall health of our communities.

Don’t Miss Out

Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to win big while monitoring your health! Swing by your local library today to borrow a kit and get started.

Remember, your health matters, and so does your chance to win!

Attention Patrons: The Powell Library will be closed April 23-May 5, 2024 while we move into our temporary location in the Homesteader Building at the Park County Fairgrounds. All Park County Library System patrons can continue to place holds/request items, but please understand your hold may be delayed due to the closure. We look forward to seeing you at the fairgrounds in May.
