In the spirit of community and generosity, Park County Libraries are excited to announce a meaningful shift in their annual tradition. While the libraries have bid farewell to overdue fines, they are keeping the tradition of giving alive through the Food for No Fines campaign. This initiative encourages patrons to contribute to the well-being of fellow community members through food and monetary donations. Here’s how you can participate and make a positive impact this holiday season.
Cody Library:
The Cody Library is open to receiving donations until December 16th. We welcome canned or packaged dry foods in good condition for people and pets. Additionally, consider contributing non-food items like toilet paper, blankets, pet toys, and soap. Please note that we cannot accept homemade, home-canned, or expired items. Your donations in Cody will have a direct and positive impact on Cody Cupboard and the Park County Animal Shelter.
Powell Library:
The Powell Library is open to receiving donations until December 16th. We welcome canned or packaged dry foods in good condition for people and pets. Additionally, consider contributing non-food items like toilet paper, blankets, and soap. Please note that we cannot accept homemade, home-canned, or expired items. Your donations in Powell will directly support Loaves & Fishes.
Meeteetse Library:
The Friends of the Meeteetse Library are accepting cash donations until January 2, 2024. These donations will be dedicated to the Meeteetse Senior Center.
