Nintendo Switch Now Available to Checkout!

As of Wednesday, July 20th, Nintendo Switch games and consoles are available to check-out at the Powell and Cody Libraries.

What is it?

Nintendo Switch is a video game console that operates as both a home, television console and a handheld device. There will be one Nintendo Switch Console Kit available at each library. Each Kit comes with a Switch console, a power cord, an HDMI cable, one Blue joy-con detachable controller, one red joy-con detachable controller, a television dock, one joy-con comfort grip controller system, two attachable wrist straps, and two Nintendo Switch games.

The consoles are available to check-out at their home libraries for one week with no renewals. The Powell Library console will stay in Powell and the Cody Library console will stay in Cody. The Nintendo Switch consoles are available to check-out by adult patrons only and a user agreement must be signed at check-out. Parent/guardians can check-out the console for their kids.

Are games available?

Nintendo Switch games are available to check-out separately from the console kits and can be put on hold for free from any library in Park County. Patrons of any age can check-out two games at a time for up to one week with no renewals.

Attention Patrons: The Powell Library will be closed April 23-May 5, 2024 while we move into our temporary location in the Homesteader Building at the Park County Fairgrounds. All Park County Library System patrons can continue to place holds/request items, but please understand your hold may be delayed due to the closure. We look forward to seeing you at the fairgrounds in May.
