CHILDREN’S RESOURCE CENTER PLAYGROUPS
These fabulous folks from CRC come to the library one Friday morning a month at 10:00 for ages 18 months through 3 years. They bring a BOATLOAD of fun and early learning opportunities – please sign up to attend! Next session is Friday, March 10th, 10:00-11:00.
Our favorite certified therapy dogs visit the library every Tuesday afternoon from 3:45-4:45. Dogs are non-judgmental listeners proven to help with reading, plus they’re just plain fun to snuggle! Please sign up for a 15-minute session.
We take screen-time for kids seriously. Every Thursday afternoon from 3:00-8:00, all computers in the Kids’ Library are turned off, giving everyone a needed rest from technology. Kids will also not be permitted to use their own devices. There are plenty of other things for kids to do: board games, coloring, craft projects…and BOOKS! Let us be your haven.
Keep in mind…
“Children are made readers on the laps of their parents.” -Author Emilie Buchwald
