LEGO lovers in grades K-5! Join us Friday afternoon, November 3rd at 2:15 for some creative fun. We supply the LEGO’s, you supply the imagination. Please let us know if you can make it.
Wonderful certified therapy dogs return to the library Tuesday afternoons in October! Dogs are nonjudgmental listeners, providing a comfortable audience for both beginning and proficient readers. Proven to help with fluency, it’s also just plain fun. Sign up for a 15-minute slot between 3:45 and 4:45 Tuesday afternoons except for October 31.
Every Thursday afternoon from 3:00-8:00, all devices are turned off in the Kids’ Library to give everyone a needed break from screens. There are plenty of other things for kids to do: board games, coloring, craft projects…and BOOKS!! We’ll love to be your haven.
Keep in mind… “Children are made readers on the laps of their parents.”
