LEGO Club! Kids in grades K-5 – bring your imagination and we’ll supply the LEGOs, donated by the wonderful Friends of the Cody Library. We’re experimenting with days and times to see what will work best for folks. Please call to see about openings or to be on a waiting list for dates in May.
Summer Reading! It’s time to mark your calendars for May 29-July 29 when it will be time to
“Dream Big: READ!” There will be something for everyone, ages 0-18; see our full brochure. Our favorite magician Cody Landstrom plus The Noiseguy Charlie Williams will be back for your entertainment, as well as reading and non-reading challenges to earn tickets for chances to win our fabulous prizes. Plan to spend as much of your summer as you can at the library!
Regular Weekly Programs:
- Toddler Time - Monday mornings from 10:00-10:20, Toddler Time is for ages 12-36 months with parent or caregiver. Short stories, music, movement and fingerplays, all to develop a comfort in the library and a love for books…plus, it’s a great networking time for adults!
- Story Time – Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 10:00-10:45 is especially for ages 3-6. Stories are based on a theme each week, accompanied by games, songs, and crafts – all to promote early literacy skills plus a love for the library. Another great chance to meet other parents & child care providers!
- Homeschool Hour – Tuesday afternoons from 2:30-3:30, all homeschooled kids are invited to the children’s library (grades K-5) or teen room (grades 6-12) for a read-aloud and fun activities. Feel free to call or email for more information.
