Park County Archivist Robyn Cutter will discuss the history of Cody area eateries; cafés, diners, bakeries, coffee shops, drive-ins, restaurants and, yes, some dives (1900 -2019) at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 16.
Well who doesn’t like a great donut? The Third and final program in the restaurant history covers the restaurants from Q-Z. So how about taking a look at the Spudnut Shop. This donut shop have several locations at the same time, at 1212 Sheridan Ave., inside the Cody Bowling Lanes on 12th St. where Gabby Barrus would get up early and go down to the lanes and make donuts, a freestanding building in the 1500 block of Sheridan Ave., and a free standing building on the west strip. Lloyd Bartlett had them
for most of the years.
