Gardening: Weed and Pest Program

Join the Powell Branch Library as assistant supervisor of the Park County Weed and Pest, Mary McKinney, shows us integrated pest management techniques to control noxious weeds and pests.
Walking Book Group
It looks like a wonderful time to be outside!
Walk with us June 13th, 20th, and 27th at 9:00 a.m. for 30 minutes of exercise and to enjoy a new book! This program will be worth THREE Adult Summer Reading tickets each time you attend a walk. Sign up at the front desk and get your MP3 checked out. You will need to have some headphones or you can purchase earbuds at the front desk! Call us at 754-8828 for any questions.
Paint your own Terra Cotta Pots!
Come to the Powell Branch Library May 18th at 6:00p.m. and paint your very own terra cotta pot! We will have an assortment of paints for you to use but you are always welcome to use your own if you prefer. Help us welcome the season of planting and gardening with something colorful and creative. Please sign up at the front desk as space is limited, or call 754-8828 to speak with a librarian!
