This fall, the Park County Libraries are bringing back their popular Literary Pumpkins displays! Each library is hosting the event with its own unique twist—so check out the details for your local branch:
Powell Library
Unleash your creativity! The Powell Library is accepting entries from October 21st to October 30th. Bring in your decorated pumpkin or gourd representing a beloved book title, character, or author. The display is open to all ages, and everyone is invited to participate. Voting for the People’s Choice Award will take place on Halloween, with the winning pumpkin receiving a fun prize!
Cody Library
Help decorate the Cody Library! They’re accepting Literary Pumpkins from October 28th to November 1st. Create a pumpkin or gourd inspired by a book, character, or author and drop it off. Your creative contribution will be on display for everyone to enjoy! Please pick up your pumpkins by the end of the day on November 2nd—any unclaimed pumpkins will be discarded after this date.
Meeteetse Library
From October 21st to October 31st, bring in your decorated pumpkin or gourd showcasing a favorite literary theme. The pumpkins will be on display at the library, and on Halloween (October 31st), you can vote for your favorite entry!
