Powell Library: Your Guide to Fair Week Services

During the week of Park County Fair (July 22-27) the Powell Library will be mixing up its services!  They will be open on Monday, July 22 and Tuesday, July 23 with usual hours and services.   

They will be closed to the public from Wednesday, July 24 – Saturday, July 27 

Gateside Services: Gateside pickup and drop off services will be available during the week of the Park County Fair.  Gateside services will be available for the following times: 

July 22-25th, Monday-Thursday, 9-6 PM.  

July 26, Friday 9-5 PM. 

Use the designated parking spot, outside the South/main gate and then call 754-8828 for gateside pick-up or drop off services. 

Currently checked out items: Please hang onto any checked out items until after the fair.  Remember we do not charge fines, and this will help library staff.   

Parking Changes: Starting on Monday, July 22 there will be a change in parking at the fairgrounds.  All visiting cars must enter through the west gate and park on the grass.  Be advised, beginning on Wednesday, fair event parking fees will apply.  

Outreach Table: During the week of the fair, you can find us at the Outreach Van and table just outside Homesteader Hall. We will have our usual information, prize wheel, games and swag. Come say hello! 

ATTENTION: During the Park County Fair, Powell Library will be open July 22-23, closed July 24-27, and offering gateside services July 22-26.
