Portable Planetarium to Visit Libraries!

Experience the night sky, see the Milky Way, and touch a meteorite! John Miller from Pearl Observatory will be visiting the Park County Libraries to help kick-off their Summer Reading Programs. His Starlab Portable Planetarium can house around 30-50 people inside at a time, with a projector that immerses its viewers in outer space.

Miller will be at the Meeteetse Library on Thursday, June 1st at 10:00 a.m. and will move on to the Powell Library later that afternoon at 2:00 p.m. The Cody Library will host the Planetarium on Friday, June 2nd from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Ages 3 to adult are asked to sign-up for a 15-minute session to go inside the planetarium and learn about the planets, stars, and constellations in our solar system. Call or visit your closest Park County Library for more information.

ATTENTION: Cody and Powell Libraries will be CLOSED on October 9th for the Columbus Day Holiday. Meeteetse Library will remain open.
