Harriette Knew Why the Chicken Crossed the Road!

Amy¬†McKinney, a Northwest College Associate Professor of History, will present an evening of information about an amazing woman who broke the poultry world’s glass ceiling in 1922. Harriette E. Cushman worked for thirty-three years in the poultry extension field. McKinney will be speaking about Ms. Cushman’s ability to work in a male-dominated field in the early 20th century.
