NEW THIS YEAR!
New to Winter Gathering this year is a competitive box social.
Organizations and businesses are invited to create decorated containers packed with non-perishable food and drink items. These will be judged for prizes in four categories and sold to the public at a silent auction.
A prize of $100 will be awarded for the best overall entry. Fifty dollars will go to the winner of the best meal, and two entries will each share $25 for the best decorated box and for “Foundation Favorite.”
Entries will be displayed for judging and bidding in the Biblio Bistro from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. To enter, call Sarah Mitchell at 527-1886.
Proceeds from the box social are designated to benefit the library.
