Summer Reading: Build a Better World
What a wonderful time we had during SUMMER READING! If you haven’t stopped by the children’s circulation desk to see if you won a prize, be sure to do so by August 4!
Baby & Toddler Time for children age 0-36 months is Mondays at 10:30 – 11:00 a.m. and Thursdays at 11:00 – 11:30 a.m. This special time includes stories, fingerplays, songs, movement, and play. A dynamic way to introduce your little one to the library! No need to sign up. Please come when you can.
Story Time for preschool – elementary children is from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday morning. Story Time includes stories, rhymes, music, and an activity to promote a love of reading and the library. No sign-up needed.
Celebrate Back to School with a banana split! From 3:15 – 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 23. For students in Kindergarten – 12th grade.
We hold special after-school programs during the school year. These programs include Lego Club, Cup Stacking, craft programs, and Read to a Dog. Watch the main web page, or check the Powell Events Calendar for more program information.
