In addition to serving as a public library for the community, the Meeteetse Branch Library is also the library of the Meeteetse Schools.
Elementary school students make regular visits to the library. With some notice, we can also provide
- customized book lists for classes or individuals (by subject, reading level, etc.)
- research assistance for teachers and students
- library instruction (how to search the library catalog, how to evaluate information online and in print, how to find sources of information on a particular topic, etc.)
We maintain a list of Recommended Websites where we post resources that may be useful to students and teachers. If you use del.icio.us to keep track of your bookmarks, why not add us to your network? If you have topics or specific sites you’d like to see added, please let us know.
We also have a blog with updates for teachers and news about new books and resources at the library.
