The Meeteetse Branch Library hosts a book discussion group each year, usually starting in the fall and ending in the spring. Books are generally available for checkout a month in advance of the meeting, and you may come to all our meetings or just some of them. Meetings are held in the library, which is located at 2107 Idaho Street, inside the Meeteetse Schools.
Call us at 868-2248 or email laura@parkcountylibrary.org with any questions.
2010-2011 Book Discussion Series: Icons
This fall, we’ll be reading a series of biographies of American cultural icons provided by the Wyoming Humanities Council. We will meet on Wednesday afternoons at 2 p.m. at the Meeteetse Branch Library. Books are available for checkout in the library.
Wednesday, August 25: Cash by Johnny Cash
Wednesday, September 22: Muhammad Ali by Thomas Hauser
Wednesday, October 27: Eleanor Roosevelt, Vol. 1 by Blanche Wiesen Cook
Wednesday, December 1: Jane Fonda’s War by Mary Hershberger
After the holidays, we’ll resume, probably in February, to read a couple of other books. Your suggestions are welcome!
