Powell Library will be gearing up for the 4th Annual Edible Book Contest and Silent Auction by hosting an afternoon of free cake decorating for children of all ages! On Wednesday, April 1st from 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. children will be given a free cake and decorations in order to make their entry for the contest and auction the next day. There are only 30 slots available, so hurry to sign up! Parents are encouraged to purchase their child’s entry the day of the workshop for a $5.00 donation to the Park County Library Foundation. Food Hub workshop, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday, March 14. Explore the possibilities of greater access to locally grown food. Due to limited space, registration is requested. Here’s the link. The workshop is FREE! Learn about existing food hubs and how they function. Presenters will include:
