Pay Your Fine with Food, Help Your Local Charity

Now through December 30, bring non-perishable, unexpired food donations, and we’ll forgive your fines to benefit area food banks and animal shelters.  Fines may be paid with pet food and with food for human consumption. Patrons are asked to bring enough food to be approximately equal in value to the amounts of their fines.

Powell Children’s Christmas Crafts

Children grades K-5 are invited to an afterschool program making “Children’s Christmas Crafts”.  It will be held on Wednesday December 14 from 3:30-4:30 pm.  A holiday snack will be provided. Space is limited for this program so please sign up at the library. Call the library at 754-8828 for more information.

Powell Sleepy-Time Stories

Come meet Santa at Sleepy-time stories Thursday, December 15, at 6:30 pm. Children of all ages are invited to come meet Santa and listen to stories.  Wear your PJ’s, bring your favorite sleep items, and hot cocoa will be served.
