			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong><a href="http://parkcountylibrary.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/altered-books.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-11288" title="Altered Book" src="http://parkcountylibrary.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/altered-books-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="150" /></a>Altered Books</strong> &#8211; have you heard about them?  Have you seen one?  Do you create your own?  Would you like to make one?  If you answered, &#8220;Yes&#8221;, to any of these questions you are the person we are looking for.  Powell Branch Library will be hosting three Altered Book programs throughout the summer, and we would love to see you there.  The first one will be held <strong>at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, June 14,</strong> in the Fireside Room.  If you already know about this wildly imaginitive art form bring all of your materials and come show off your skills.  If you know nothing about it, but would love to learn, the library will be providing tools and supplies to get you started. There will be examples displayed by Wyoming artists, and staff available to help answer questions.  This will be for all persons ages 12 and up.  Refreshments will be served.</p>

<p>This children&#8217;s book  celebrates creativity, kindness, and nutrition with the antics of the heroine, Mabel.</p>
<p>Christi will visit Cody and Powell libraries the second week of May. She appears for Story Time <strong>Tuesday, May 8, from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at Cody</strong> with a book signing. <a href="http://westsouthpublishing.com/">Orders may be placed at the publisher&#8217;s website.</a></p>
<p>She will lead kids in a creative workshop in Powell on <strong>Wednesday, May 9</strong> at<strong> 3:30 pm. </strong> Parents are encouraged to attend the whole program and enjoy the book-signing afterwards. <strong></strong><em>Kids please sign-up for the workshop.</em></p>
