Call 527-1880 or sign up at the main desk. Attendance is limited to eight people per session. Attendees may bring sack lunches or lunch from the Biblio Bistro to the class.

The 60-minute course on applying for grants by nonprofit organizations provides an overview of the funding research process and will cover the following:

  • What you need to have in place before you seek a grant;
  • What you should know about grant makers;
  • How to identify funding partners; and
  • Grantseeking resources.

The webinar is prepared by the Foundation Center. The Park County Library System is a Cooperating Collection of the Foundation Center. Cooperating Collections are free information centers that provide a core collection of Foundation Center publications plus online resources that are available only in the library.

    Saturday, March 12th, the parade begins at 4:00 p.m. Kids who made billboards at the library will carry them and walk the route to encourage a new season of reading, while younger patrons may join us, accompanied by an adult.

A special opportunity titled “Go, Go, Go on an Adventure” with Wyoming PBS and the Cat in the Hat will be coming to the Park County Library System! This event includes stories, an activity, and photo opportunities for all ages.

The short program is related to the “Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That” PBS series that is designed to encourage an interest in science among preschool-aged children. The Cat in the Hat, portrayed by an actor in costume, will pose for photographs with any child who wishes, so parents are encouraged to bring cameras.

Cody: Saturday, March 5th at 10:00 a.m. in Grizzly Hall

Powell: Monday, March 7th at 10:00 a.m. in the Fireside Room

It offers over 500 online classes FOR FREE with a Park County Library System card. The site is an approved IACET (International Association for Continuing Education and Training) Authorized Provider.  To enroll, type in your library card number, then follow the instructions, which include assigning yourself a username and password, providing and verifying an email address, and then signing up for a class. (If you don’t have an email address, you may easily get a free one through one of the websites such as MSN, Yahoo, Google, etc.)

Then the next time you visit Universal Class, just use the handy link from the sidebar on this page or our Research page and log in with the username and password you set up. Please use it and let us know what you think!
