<p>The 60-minute course on applying for grants by nonprofit organizations provides an overview of the funding research process and will cover the following:</p>
<ul>
<li>What you need to have in place before you seek a grant;</li>
<li>What you should know about grant makers;</li>
<li>How to identify funding partners; and</li>
<li>Grantseeking resources.</li>
</ul>
<p>The webinar is prepared by the Foundation Center. The Park County Library System is a Cooperating Collection of the Foundation Center. Cooperating Collections are free information centers that provide a core collection of Foundation Center publications plus online resources that are available only in the library.</p>

<p>The short program is related to the <strong>&#8220;Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That&#8221;</strong> PBS series that is designed to encourage an interest in science among preschool-aged children. The Cat in the Hat, portrayed by an actor in costume, will pose for photographs with any child who wishes, so parents are encouraged to bring cameras.</p>
