The visit by everyone’s favorite monkey is made possible through the PBS Kids educational program “Ready to Learn.” Kids will get to hear Curious George stories, and stay to meet him for photo opportunities, hugs, and high fives.

At the Cody Children’s Library, we have two ways to help kids to get ready for Valentine’s Day:

  • Grades K-5 party from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m., Friday, February 10. Valentine stories, heart tic-tac-toe, conversation heart stacking game, and a “love-ly” snack. Sign-up appreciated please.
  • Story Time for the younger set from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., Saturday, February 11. Books to love and music & dancing with Miss Lisa, plus make a valentine to give someone special. No sign-up necessary.

Another celebration in Children’s Book Week, this is a great time for the whole family. Teachers from the Cody Reading Council will share favorite stories including Skippyjon Jones! Kids may come in pajamas and bring a stuffed animal or pillow if they’d like – and everyone is invited to stay for milk & cookies.

This will be the last regular Sleepy Time Stories of the year, so we hope you can make it!
