An introduction to button collecting with Vieune Revolinski and Lee Carr will begin at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 14. Several of their favorite buttons are displayed in the glass case near the periodicals this month.
Between them they own buttons from 18th century France, WWII and one that is a woman’s sachet by Colt. Buttons can be valuable or inexpensive. Lee’s favorites are made of ruby carnival glass. They are worth about $2 each. They enjoy the breadth of materials and styles something so small encompasses.
