Bill Hoagland will read from his new book, Strawberries at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 25. Strawberries begins with poems drawn from his childhood experiences working in his grandfather’s strawberry fields. “Some of the poems are light-hearted, rhyming lyrics,” Bill says. “Others are narratives that tell stories about events from my youth.”
Bill taught creative writing, composition and literary magazine editing and production at Northwest College for 23 years.
