Saturday, FEB 21 at 2 p.m. Join us for the second movie in the “Created Equal: America’s Civil Rights Struggle,” series provided by the National Endowment for the Humanities. “Slavery by Another Name” tells the story of the post civil war South after slavery was ended. New forms of forced labor kept thousands of African Americans in bondage until the onset of World War II.
Mary L. Keller, PhD. will lead the conversation after the movie. Mary is a lecturer in the Religious Studies Department and an adjunct for African American and Diaspora Studies at the University of Wyoming.
