There are lots of ways to limit your searches by checking facet options to the left of the results. The default in the search box is title, but you can drop down and see the other searching options.
Important: If it says “no copies available” in the results list, that could simply mean the item is checked out. Click on the book jacket or title for more information. If it’s checked out and you want to reserve the item, select the hold button at right. You will need to provide your library card number and PIN and then select where you want to pick up the item. (Remember that out-of-county holds cost at least $3.00 to borrow because of the cost of shipping.)
Don’t forget the Advanced Search option to the right of the main search box.
On the left side of the home page of the catalog, you can select options. Each library in Park County Library System has its own catalog, and in each of those catalogs, you have the option to search just one of the libraries or all the Park County public libraries and the Hinckley Library at Northwest College in Powell.
Or you can search all of WYLD, meaning Wyoming’s public libraries, special libraries, community college and school libraries.
At the top, you may log in to check when your items are due, renew (according to limits), and make lists.
At left, you may browse the new arrivals and titles that are on order. You may browse best seller lists from a variety of sources.
On the right-hand side, the catalog gives you access to information on how to set up accounts, check out and download ebooks, audiobooks, magazines, and browse through the astounding array of online research resources available through gowyld.net You can also get an app for your phone.
