Nancy Heyl Ruskowsky, author of Two Dot Ranch : A Biography of Place, will talk about Cowboys of the Two Dot at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, January 17, in Grizzly Hall of Park County Library in Cody. The free program is sponsored by Friends of the Cody Library.
The material for the program is not included in her recently published book. She continued her research about the interesting lives of the Two Dot cowboys after the book was published. Her talk will include material and photos that didn’t appear in the book.
She garnered the Western Horizon Award last June and an award for nonfiction from the Wyoming State Historical Society for her book about the Two-Dot Ranch. She lives on the South Fork, has been a writer for over 30 years, and grew up on a farm in South Dakota, moving to this area with her family in 1968.
