Holiday Reading in Powell

It’s that time of year when most of you just want a warm blanket, a soft sofa, and a good book. Look no further for great holiday books! Powell’s Library is pleased to bring you the following new books:

The Gift: A Novel by Cecelia Ahern is a modern-day fable with a workaholic executive and homeless man at the center of a holiday tale.

One Week in December by Holly Chamberlin brings a heartfelt novel about family, love, and promises kept and broken.

A Rumpole Christmas by John Mortimer A Rumpole  is a collection of five holiday stories, never before published in book form. Fans lamenting over John Mortimer’s death earlier this year will find solace in this collection.

A Wee Christmas Homicide by Kaitlyn Dunnett has the author returning to the small Maine town of Moosetookalook with the third mystery in her Scottish-themed series. 

All you need now is the sofa and blanket!  Enjoy!!
