Darin Alexander, maker of cord saddle cinches and fiber arts educator, will present a free public program at the Park County Public Library in Cody at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, November 1.
He will talk about the traditional art of cinch making. Some of his colorful custom-made cinches and other forms of cord art will be on display at the library through November 30.
Alexander graduated from the photography program at Northwest College in Powell. He worked as an intern at Buffalo Bill Historical Center and was the first digital photographer there.
Today, he and his wife, Elaine, provide supplies, training, and custom cinches from their shop in Gentry, Arkansas. See more at Art Cords.
