The Powell Branch Library is pleased to announce Free Movies at the Library! We will be showing several movies every month through a license we have acquired in conjunction with Powell Valley Community Education. We’re going to kick things off with a ”Movie Night for Adults” on Thursday, October 22nd, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. We will be showing a horror classic in honor of Halloween! It is rated R. On Saturday, October 24th, the Children’s Department will be presenting a movie matinee from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. All ages are encouraged to attend, children under 7 years of age, however, will need a parent to be present.
