Catch the Reading Bug: Summer Reading for All Ages in Meeteetse!
Jun 6th, 2008 by laura
The sun is shining, school’s out, and the top shelves of the children’s section are beginning to fill up with toys and coffee cans. Once again, it’s time for the Meeteetse Branch Library’s Summer Reading Program. Registration begins on Monday, June 9, and the program runs through till July 17. Summer Reading is open to kids of all ages, and you can learn more about how to Catch the Reading Bug in this summer’s brochure [PDF] or by stopping by the library.
This summer will also feature the third annual Adult Summer Reading Program [PDF], which runs from June 9 through July 31. The program is open to all adults in Meeteetse. The books you read are up to you. Each book you read gets you one ticket into a drawing for various prizes (past prizes have included gift certificates to the Meeteetse Chocolatier, a massage from A Haven for Healing, and 9 holes of golf at the Pine Rock Golf Course). And this year, we’ve added a few new ways to get tickets by exploring library services. Check the brochure or stop by the library for details!
