Catch the Reading Bug in Powell!

Summer is coming, and that can mean only one thing…..SUMMER READING PROGRAM! Karen and Jane are already working hard to provide another fantastic summer of reading adventure. This year’s theme is “Catch the Reading Bug“. We have a truly thrilling array of different programs discussing bees, butterflies, weed eating bugs, and much more! Registration begins May 27th at the library, and continues until June 30th. Summer reading will run from June 2nd-July 14th. Wednesdays and Thursdays this year from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. we’ll have special programs for Grades K & up, and storytime for the Preschool-Kindergarten age will be on Tuesdays from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. We are excited to announce that on Thursday, June 26th from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Charlie “The Noiseguy” Williams will be performing for all ages at the Powell Branch Library. Come and enjoy all of the great activities, and of course the chance to win one of the many fantastic prizes our generous sponsors have provided!
