We have a fine deal for kids!

Forget the dime — instead of 10 cents per book per day, the fines on children’s books (easy readers through young adult books) will now be five cents per book per day.
AND children who have outstanding fines on their cards can “read away” their fines. It’s up to each Park County Library how this is handled, but as envisioned, a child might work off an outstanding fine by reading for half an hour in the presence of a librarian, or bring a signed note from a parent or teacher stating the child has read for a specified amount of time in their presence. The formula is that one dollar will be taken off a fine per thirty minutes of reading. Come in to your library today and read away those fines!
